I’m interested to see how this plays out. There’s a nature comparison to be made here.

Specifically, for all its reputation as a terrifying destroyer of life, the red-bellied piranha is a very cowardly little fish. It moves only in very large groups, and when they spot fresh prey, they approach in force but immediately stand down. It can be several tense moments before one of them darts in and takes a quick nibble, which is of course the signal for all hell to break loose.
