I'd like to think on the Farms people only hit report if someone is being a truly exceptional faggot or they are doing something that requires a mod to come and laugh at.

If someone posted that autism on the Farms you'd hit the report button just to alert the staff to come and laugh at it.

If you won hard, it makes people who get upset at losing WAY more upset, since you're effectively rubbing it in that you beat them so hard.

I have become convinced that what the slavish adherents to cancel culture and their mob mentality want is pretty close to that. It became increasingly clear over time that the only reason they don't want to you go off and kill yourself after being canceled is that it makes them look bad - see Etika, for example. But they really do want you to just crawl in a hole and die, because nothing else is ever, ever good enough. There is no redemption - at best, you'll get a return predicated on these zealots keeping a Sword of Damocles over your head. The slightest perceived misstep, and oh look, 'history of previous infractions', and they can hound you even worse.
Though they might be happy if the Digital Foundry crew killed themselves - and they'd certainly take it as an admission of guilt of whatever they've been accused of, like they did with Alec Holowka - they're aware enough that they couldn't show it, because that wouldn't reflect well on them. But they'll certainly happily wish death upon them, and celebrate their deaths if they aren't self-inflicted.
