I'm in love with the idea that NeoGAF, while tarnished and somewhat smaller, will continue on. People will have their OT and glorified news aggregation (the silent majority). Some will leave for other forums.

But in the end, those who truly lost are the mods like besada who stood up and left. They'll have their utterly tiny hugbox kingdom, that no one in the games industry will visit. They'll never be able to properly open up registrations due to raids.

ResetEra, and more specifically the mods, will almost certainly need their own thread.

If Tyler opens up registration at a later point with a good reporting system, abolish the junior member bullshit and hire decent mods who aren't oppressive psychos.. I think he will be able to double his audience in a few years.

SJWs really aren't a good audience for anything commercial or entertaining, your real target is the normies, and those don't know or give any fucks about GG, Anita Sarkeesian or SJW politics..etc, not if you provide them with a good spot to discuss games and read about the new Assassin's Creed game or whatever new game that EA wants to sell..
