One of my favorite linguistic tics from this utterly insane forum is the "prior severe bans." As if being banned from some complete shithole could possibly be "severe." Getting banned from RetardEra is an actual FAVOR.

It really seems like recently that nothing gets these faggots as mad as telling them that in a democracy they need to win elections rather than just screech at others demanding they do what they say.
I assume this is part of why they declare there to be no democracy (or no "real democracy") and insisting it's time for mass violence. (As if they haven't been insisting this forever no matter what the conditions are.)

My wife is pretty similar. Not that she creates a porn star when handed a character creator, but she definitely wants her characters to be attractive. She consistently avoids characters in the same design philosophy as Abby from Last of Us 2.

He ruined anything interesting about it last year and got rid of the new group of "problematic" posters that actually gave the site activity and had interesting discussions. These days it seems like he just bans people at random in batches when he gets in one of those power hungry moods. The site has a ban page but in most cases he never actually writes a real reason for banning people, it's just crazy bitching written in an immature tone. Even gold members on there (someone who pays money to the site for special features or whatever) often aren't spared from getting banned for reasons only he knows because he refuses to elaborate on the true reasons why someone is banned.
He also has a "no politics" rule but I actually see politics being discussed on there from time to time, such as the Ukraine situation. If you disagree with his personal viewpoint you will be banned. So politics actually are kinda allowed... as long as your opinion is the same as his. Most of the posters on there that don't get banned have to carefully walk on eggshells and show no signs of having a personality or opinion that differs from him because you will find yourself randomly permanently banned with a great reason such as "Ok boomer" or "Bye" on the ban page one day.
I think that maybe he secretly resents his currently site members. He doesn't want inoffensive and bland posters and he also doesn't want the "problematic" types that he purged last year. He wants the insane, SJW ResetERA types and he wants to be in charge of them. I think that's where the resentment and random bans come from. The same people that fucked him over seem to be the group that he really wants to appeal to, but as we know that's never going to happen. NeoGAF is irrelevant now. It appeals to a very small group of people that have to be careful not to show any strong personality, opinions, or disagree with him on anything. Or post when he's in one of his bannings moods, because you and five other people will be banned that day.
