Is this tard referring to the whole Digital Homicide thing? That was the only time since getting booted from the Escapist that Jim Sterling was able to wrangle some relevance. That's not something that Jim can really take credit for, he lucked into pissing in the wheaties of the single most autistic asset-flip studio to stick to the underbelly of steam greenlight and just kept poking them while they narc-raged themselves into an humiliating lawsuit to try to sue him for damages because he called their bad games bad. Jim was literally the least important part of the whole affair, he just basically documented the self-destruction. Does this idiot think that Jim can make that shit happen at will, to any studio that isn't shitty and also massively autistic in the first place? Lol. Lmao, even.

Much of it is people thinking that if you're going to criticize something in an online community, you need to be a member of that community and criticize it in that community.

There's no difference between screenshotting a tweet and then posting it on your twitter timeline to mock it, posting that screenshot on your facebook timeline and mocking it, or posting it in this forum and mocking it.

They want to keep things within a single community because that allows them to buy into "out of sight out of mind" fantasy when they ban accounts from that community.

Just like Keffals thinks getting KF kicked off the internet is going to cause whoever is fucking with her to stop. No, they'll just take the conversation somewhere else and keep doing it.

Just like Google delisting the Truth Social app on their storefront even tho you can just log in to the site from your Android web browser and use it.

They get a PR "win" and are rewarded with the grift without actually accomplishing anything.

The only thing Jim Sterling did here was give Valve a pretext to finally kick the guy (who has been melting down for months and already got banned from his own forums well before Sterling noticed this happened) off Steam because he violated their rules against targeting a specific person.
