Was Dr. Fredric Wertham really a conservatard? His main other claim to fame was defending cannibal serial killer child molester Albert Fish. He was a personal friend of Sigmund Freud.

Doesn't sound like it:

Wertham had an early reputation as a progressive psychiatrist who treated poor black patients at his Lafargue Clinic at a time of heightened discrimination in urban mental health practice. Wertham also authored a definitive textbook on the brain, and his institutional stressor findings were cited when courts overturned multiple segregation statutes, most notably in Brown v. Board of Education.

I am talking about her, you are correct she is not a leftist. However there was a movement in the west where they were highlighting countries led by women and how they didn’t start wars and outperformed male leaders. I brought up on a different gaming forum her charges and two admins mentioned how only “gamergate” sites were talking about that so i was clearly anti feminist and should be banned. They continued the talking point of women led countries and she just disappeared from the list. Some major UK news sites also modified their articles at the time without mentioning their edit. I was so baffled at the time because I wasn’t involved in Asian politics and just happened to hear about the scandal. I noticed other news things were became verboten and I decided fuck it and stopped being involved in.

It’s weird because for anyone who is knowledgeable about this it seems like a weird proxy battle to fight as the politics don’t align but I think they just assumed woman + minority = Western Leftist. I claim to know little about their culture but I was shocked at the lengths the admins went to delete their transgression and cover up for something that didn’t affect the site whatsoever because they believed I had gotten the “truth” from a source they believed I shouldn’t have accessed. I heard about it from a friend and obviously got some details mixed up along the way.

Also would like to mention John Goldwater of Archie Comics was also behind the CCA, and he used it to shut down some of his major competitors.
