Jokes aside, I think there are more people there. Maybe the better question is if resetera is an actual forum at all ? It is pretty obvious that if you go against the grain you will almost always eat at first a temporary that gets turned into a permanent ban. Cant play the devil's advocate or argue for HP, AI, CP 2077 and cant argue against leftist, LTBTQ+2IO whatever, niggers, Palestine and so on. It's either people just posting in isolation and/ or agreement. I don't think there is a portion on that forum that is allowed to exist and that goes against whatever the mods declare as absolute truth.

Compared to here where a good chunk of retards and cunts are allowed to stay and participate. Bans don't occur that often, most shithead eat a pink triangle and still post their drivel. That would never happen over at retardera.

Interestingly enough i've heard that it's really difficult these days to get your account info deleted (ticket will stall/get lost or become subject of malicious compliance) and even then they won't really delete anything.

Don't know if this was already mentioned and discussed, but I find the entire thread amusing,
Edge is a garbage magazine, but the meltdown and 15 pages of butt hurt Nintendo fans is insane.
It's of course down to how video games are scored (7-10/10 for basically everything) and how inadequate and meaningless the system is, but never ceases to amaze me how many idiots value the useless idea of reviews in 2025.

TLDR: Metroid 4 got a 4/10 and there is a pissing contest going on.

I know that the users at resetera never attended public or private school but Jesus. Where I am from, a 4 means to did the bare minimum and passed. Not bad or good, just acceptable. That 7/10 from all publications has distorted any notion on how scores/ratings and numbers work.
Of course, if your game looks and sounds good, that's automatically a 7/10, and it can't be a "bad" game. Prime 4 did barely the minimum after a decade of development, and isn't able to either compete with the massive indie metroidvania scene and its own predecessors. Releasing a product that upon its release is basically obsolete reflects a lower score quite well.

Prime example, why a majority of people are retarded. So everything below 7 is bad, then it's decent up to 8,5 and then what ? You now only have three options left to score from good to game of the year, for example. Complete and utter retardation.

There's been a several occasions of that this year. From the Switch 2 screen drama, some people daring to not like the new Donkey Kong, Metroid Prime 4 previews, and other random Nintendo things, when it comes to actual video game sperging on that site Nintendo fans are simply the worst.

As an aside, I recently finished MP4 and it does take a massive nosedive towards the end. Clearly rushed out the door.

A game in development hell for a decade, taken away from the original devs and handed to a different team, then rushed out for the holidays.

Kinda flies in the face of the Nintenyearolds who insist Nintendo is a magical company that makes nothing but masterpieces in less time and for lower budgets than anyone else, doesn't it?
