I think it was the other way around. In Japanese Final Fight she was a woman, but when they were porting the game to North America NOA wouldn't let them have a female enemy in a beat em up. To get around this Capcom labelled her a tranny instead, but that wasn't good enough for NOA so when the game was released in the States there was no Poison, just a male enemy named Billy. There have been conflicting statements since, but the most definitive one I can remember is the character designer for Final Fight saying "Poison is female in Japanese, and male in English" but then walking that back to "Poison is ambiguous in English".

Poison and Roxy weren’t made trannies for the US release of Final Fight on SNES, they were replaced entirely by clearly male enemies.

In a possible sign of the apocalypse, renowned Xbox shill and all-around asshole Punished Miku FINALLY caught a permaban on NeoGAF.

There is no final post linked, which is pretty common when the janitors there finally get off their asses and ban someone who should have gotten the ax years ago, but were protected. That said, his whole post history shows why he deserved it, and many are happy to see him gone!

Usually when they don’t cite a specific post, it’s the user’s long history of being a dick finally caught up to them.

In this case, he argued with Tyler the Sex Pest, which is usually a good way to get permed.

Good riddance to someone who should have been banned a decade ago!

Is Steve-O even partially relevant to society in 2026? Does he act? Is he a politician, sports coach, news anchor or whatever?

This sounds like one of those things where its like "cool guy on a TV show 26 years ago said a thing that was entirely mainstream and noncontroversial 26 years ago" as if we are supposed to care. Why do they care? Who is keeping tabs on Steve-O and reporting his political views? Why do they care?

Its really just they want to stay outraged at SOMETHING and took the chance to yell about a man in his 50s who started a podcast and is periodically pushed out in a wheelchair so his 60 year old jackass buddies can swing a claw hammer at his cock and balls again. They don't even need to old man suits anymore.
