They've grown obsessed with MRA-esque mantras lately ie: saying cuck and other super weird things unironically every other video. Before that their YT audience has been pretty shit since TWD Season 2 when all the Kenny fans/mras came out of the woodwork and got super pissed with them for not liking the guy. I didn't have an issue with any one of them individually. My issue is their seeming embrace of alt-right bs.

My issue is they've dived in extremely hard on alt-right politics, transphobia, and screaming about rape in what seems to be every other video now. Before that they were honestly extremely tame outside of the rare morbid bit like Rich dying at the end of a BotW episode. Or all the 9/11 jokes from the Holiday Special episode. Or etc. etc. And that isn't bad at all, obviously. It makes their content neigh unwatchable when they embrace the shit that they do now. Yes, they were always dark. But they were never this repugnant. They've changed drastically in how they behave/present their content and it's baffling to me when people try to argue that they haven't. There's an extremely clear difference in their content of today/the past year and what they used to have.

I honestly would rather have RLM back to the way they were. They used to be such a fun channel to watch and were on my shortlist of : "immediate check to see if there was an update/new video". That they so quickly turned around to be unwatchable is a shame. Nowadays I rarely watch a video of theirs unless someone else has seen it and tells me: "They're not being idiots this time". Which happens so rarely. And on the occasion I switch over to their channel on my own or hear about what they did, it's some crazy theory defending MRAs in regards to Ghostbusters. Or it's an immediate "haha-trans people" 'joke' at the top of the episode. Or a rape 'joke' leaks in around like a third of the way through the video and the tone goes from being very fun to extremely awkward. And I immediately just want to turn it off because it's just reminding me further of how much they've changed. I can't stand alt-right politics. I's such a messy hive of noise, nonsense and hatred. And while some of them may not be alt-right themselves, they are most certainly utilizing alt-right mannerisms/behaviors in the delivery of their content nowadays.
