That witch-hunt thread appears to have spun off from a thread titled "Subnautica may be a genre-defining game for the Survival genre". The OP gave effusive but well-reasoned praise for the game and set the thread up well for discussion.
That thread appears to be dead, at 48 posts. That's because it was derailed very quickly by witch hunt nonsense. A mod stepped in and told posters to bring the witch hunt to a new thread, and nobody besides the OP has posted in his thread since.

Subnautica has a reputation of being shilled on 4/v/ and being an /ourguy/ game. Not sure if any of that is based in fact or not. I hope ResetEra keeps doing this over and over until they start creating official politically approved game lists.

I had the pleasure of getting banned a few hours ago while posting in that very same thread. It is now clear to me that SJWs have no interest in having a debate or even a discussion. It's either their opinion or nothing. I bloody give up. They even went as far as to ban two more members for simply asking why I was banned in the first place. Fun times.

A sound designer for spoopy sounds in a game. This is as dumb as when I found out that the 'speaking' cameo Jontron was going to have in Yooka-Laylee was a grunting toilet and the pity I felt that people had to rip him away from that to feel important.
