What I don't understand about the SJWs/Feminists and other toxic nutcases that everyone is posting about here is no one in the press covers these spin off nutcase boards. SJWs almost always are aware enough to not waste their time with low visibility online sites, they prefer to put their effort into hijacking sites with large amounts of normal people or large public visibility.

You're incorrect there they don't go where the largest crowds are they go where they can influence the most. They want to be putting the ideas into industry peoples heads and Gaf/Era is where they are.

Kind of similar to a lot of the stuff that happened and is happening with Something Awful.

Having occasionally read a bit of neogaf starting back in the PS2 days this entire clusterfuck is bewildering.

Neogaf was only good for helping to eliminate the fake gaming hardware and software sales numbers numbers. There was some good discussions about games but nothing really any different from other gaming forums.

The reputation that 'gaming insiders' posted there helped the hype for the site but even that was wildly overblown. There was some miserable little troll from Turn 10, a dimwitted Microsoft exec who got caught flaming a poster in a private message, and a mid-level guy from Isomniac posting the same stuff you get from any other game dev social media account.

Mods like Amir0x were complete garbage all the way back then and it is hilarious to see him exposed to the entire world.

I knew there was a non-gaming part of the site but I always assumed it was just there to pad out the number of message boards. I never imagined anyone would waste their time posting there.

The post that I got banned from that site I was commenting in the Henry cavill thread about how being in a position he was in normal relationship rules would not apply as he would always be in the public eye and I alluded to the fact that some people could take cracking a fart in the presence of a women could be deemed by some of these people as sexual assualt so he'd need to watch his ass at all times.

* You have a site that no one cares about other than refugees from NeoGAF
* Has no hope of ever growing outside its current toxic circlejerk
* Has very little reward for the nutcases in charge

There is no one writing articles in the mainstream or even gaming press about the 'brave trans and womyn mods stamping out the icky neo-nazis' on ResetERA. No mass social media sharing of their ideological battles. Nothing but a smug feeling over petty ideological battles no one outside the circlejerk cares about.

SJWs/Feminists usually are smart enough not to waste time on such low reward communities.

* OpenSource - Getting ideological Code of Conducts are high visibility ways to attack and destroy/hijack existing development communities
* Mainstream News Sites Bloggers - Like the vile chic who attacked TotalBiscuit in Forbes
* High Traffic Forums - Working night and day to worm their way into mainstream online communities where they can purge the heretics
* Google,Twitter,Facebook hall monitors - Massive influence over the vast mainstream public

Being some mod on ResetERA is like waking up each day as the Mayor of Retardsville. There is no endgame for circlejerk sites like ResetERA unlike most other SJW attacks. Sitting everyday in a shrinking circlejerk playing who is the most ideological pure has to get old before the wackos move on to online communities where they have higher impact on the general public.

Would anyone be interested in setting up fresh accounts with similar names to your KF names here with no post history on ResetEra, arranging a start date once everyone has been manually approved, and racing to see who can reach 1000 valid posts without getting banned first? And if everyone fails, whomever makes it the farthest wins. Honorable mentions to users that get away with really inflammatory posts or who makes the most convincing fake troon online. Could be an amusing competition with multiple categories.

Existing accounts might work too, as long as you post your current post count to make sure you're pushing for a fresh 1000 like everyone else.

ResetERA is a very weird case of the SJW cancer jumping ship entirely and starting its own forum. However, the history of it shows that they were already ready to start a site, as it popped into view nearly instantly after a hare-brained scheme to hijack NeoGAF's userbase. They somehow thought they were going to knock out NeoGAF entirely, which did happen for a bit, and snatch up the entire userbase.

Instead, they ended up with nothing but fellow tumors, and a few normies (the people they presumably want to influence) who were soon confused to be banned for acting normal.

Now they're left with nothing but each other and nobody minds. Everyone is just glad they've gone away to their own little shithole.

It's not going to last, I don't think.

I think it's more the fact gaf has more open and rationale thinkers and the moderation is now open and inclusive of all views and is more relaxed if someone trips up and says something not meaning to offend....sorta like what resetera promised.....but still so many completely oblivious to the fire in the back room.
