ResetEra LLC doesn't appear to be providing a friendly and pleasant experience for game developers.

If I were a gamedev, the idea of posting on ResetEra seems like opening myself up to be mobbed by a bunch of angry fringe posters over bizarre transgressions that the vast majority of people wouldn't think twice about.

The angrier a game makes shitholes like ResetERA, the better it does these days. There's no better example of how wrong they are.

Fuckers outright lost their shit over Girls Frontline, and it's been wildly successful in the West. They absolutely lost their minds over Deliverance, and it did phenomenally. They tried to shut down Hat in Time, because Jontron, and the devs told them to climb a wall of dicks.

Any fucking game that tells these clowns to fuck themselves can count on a groundswell of support for sticking to their guns.

I see that Cyberpunk 2077 is shaping up to be the next A Hat in Time and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. They're finding tiny things to nitpick to justify their distaste for a game and the developers, and frown upon (a massive understatement) anyone supporting it. When that game does well despite their attempts to paint it as Literally Hitler, they shit themselves in rage over their shrinking influence and curse the "horrible" gaming community.

Needless to say, I predict some excellent salt from them when the game comes out.
