Every ban I read coming from ResetERA makes me feel a little bit happier. It's so satisfying, like watching a giant glass piggy bank fill up with coins over time.

Weren't they complaining about their dwindling userbase a while ago? Does this irony seriously elude them?

I just love that they keep coming up with new variations. They can't even just make a standard ban reason for something about race, for example. It always has to be this special little custom message typed out by the mod or admin by hand, not a consistent ban reason. It's like each ban has to be a little special. I fucking love it.

Edit - In classic Jim style his plan of resetERA stream turned into a skeptic review stream without warning. It's still a good watch but features no resetERA

"Newhalf" is meant to be a cheeky term used to describe a guy, usually a homosexual, who starts dressing very feminine and using female speech patterns and mannerisms. So this new side of the guy is meant to be their "new half" and others still regard them as male in private.

In the Japan episode of that VICELAND series about LGBT people around the world, they featured a male crossdresser who used the "newhalf" term while hanging around in a crossdressing bar.

In terms of transsexuals, the generic honorific of "-san" is gender neutral, but Japanese people in general are not afraid to call you what you appear to be.

Now that I actually searched it, it looks like it's closer to "trans woman whom people describe as 'half-man' and 'half-woman'."

What I was describing is closer to what people would probably perceive it as (crossdressing for pleasure).

In effect, Wu tried to use the Japanese equivalent of "tranny" as "Samus is canonically trans so I reclaim her fuck you TERFs".

Bot seems to be bugging out on the EtcetEra board, I just noticed it. I'll fix it and try to grab the missing data. This is the reason why the forum activity graph is lower than before.

I think it's because they're stickying community threads in regular off-topic. I have no idea why they insist on shilling those off-topic generals so hard.
