I think a female-led Bully game would actually be really cool if they went at it the right way and basically made it in the vein of the Hitman games- go for a more social/stealth style game where your PC gets humiliated and slighted by the new clique who run the school behind the scenes, so she decides to destroy the entire hierarchy through a mix of blackmail, rumor milling and the like. Have the PC gather a network who collect info and half-truths that you get to act on and decide which will make for the best or easiest ways to take someone down.

Granted it would probably get scorned by the usual suspects but I think Rockstar need to do a palette cleanse and get away from yet another parody of the American Dream, and the demand for a return to Bully is there.

From what I was told by one of their former mod, Resetera activity is declining big times since the beginning of 2019. It was already declining in 2018, but 2019 looks even worse for them. Most of the staff aknowledged Resetera will never be as big as Neogaf. It seems they had a virtual "meeting" about that earlier this year and it's the reason some mods and admin left. Resetera wasn't big enough for them.

I also learnt that they kind of allow alt-accounts to boast the numbers and the activity, under one condition : it's shouldn't obvious. As long as you don't make it obvious and you behave, they'll give you a pass for creating an alt-account after being banned. Some VIP members also have alt-account, to "protect" them, whatever that means. SweetNicole has one for exemple.

The staff also has some spare accounts to hype things up when a big annoucements is coming. It seems they're easy to spot, they only appear during big announcements and are mostly one liners "yeeessss!" "reset the clooockkk"...

I always wondered why you would always see the same 50 persons participating despite them boasting about 45000 members. Now I can figure why.

It seems illogical until you remember that they're experienced in and would prefer to just infiltrate an already successful site rather than building up their own(they can't). Literally parasitic behavior.

Someone made a Pokemon Crystal mod that makes the move attract (makes the Pokemon it's used on fall in love and gives them about a 50% of not being able to act every turn) work regardless of gender (because that doesn't make it completely fucking broken or anything) because I'll be fucked if I know. When they tried to submit it to romhacking.net a mod told them to fuck off which went about as well as you'd expect for him (currently suspended). Era being Era though instead of just letting things play out immediately started the witch hunt. Which eventually led to this wonderful post:

I dunno what's funnier, someone on ERA accusing someone of being a "snowflake" or a site well-known for witch mobbing complaining that someone preemptively took steps to prevent them from witch mobbing him.

I was expecting the mod exodus to be because of some big behind the scenes scandal. It's disappointing, but kind of funny if they really did leave because they wanted to control a bigger forum.

I'll give polyamory the benefit of the doubt and say that in theory polyamory is supposed to be about loving/being in a relationship with multiple people, not just being free to fuck if "the opportunity arises."
