Actually a decent amount of pushback in that thread. They made the mistake of posting while European posters who don't give a shit about a lot of their performative stupidity are on the forum and there's barely any moderators around.

NeoGAF was the same way for many years. Having like a three or four hour period where you didn't have to toe the line at all. Huge chunks of the social justice tards, especially moderators, who spend all day on the forum are Americans/Canadians in the Eastern Time Zone.
