MHW has Layered Armor sets and a good chunk of them cover up your female hunters while still allowing you to use armors with good stats, even though the majority of the regular armor sets are pretty tame; the fact that you can either look like a bulky tank or a lithe assassin if you play a female hunter is better than just looking like an ambulant slab of metal and monster parts as a male one.
