But what I don't understand is how these people consistently believe that social media platforms like Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter censor the groups they like and promote (or at least enable) the groups they hate when it's provably the opposite.

Then again, this person also thinks Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter will cause the extinction of humanity, so they're probably none too bright.

I think one of the chief problems with these people (and they have a lot of them) is that they’ve allowed the internet to be their primary social outlet so they treat the internet like real life. That’s why they seem to have no problem sharing unbelievably intimate details about themselves on a public forum. A few pages back, there was some guy asking ResetERA for advice because his wife left him for another woman and was possibly going to kick him out of the house once their kids were potty trained. He went to fucking ResetERA instead of a lawyer or real life friends. They all live in a bubble that’s getting smaller and smaller as the bans build up.
