How about this one, they banned him twice on the same page and were so upset the first one "banbed" him:

You can allow the family to grieve however they want to and still understand- and even be repulsed by- how the act of forgiveness plays into larger conversations of white supremacy.www.resetera.com
Nepenthe's take is amazing. "No one is crying tears for the victim!" Uh, people cared enough about the victim that the grand jury elevated her charge to murder even though the prosecutor was only looking for manslaughter and then another jury found her guilty of the elevated charge and she will now spend a solid eighth of her life in jail.
These people hold onto toxic hatred which causes them to sink deeper and deeper into severe mental illness and then they mock and criticize people who advocate for a healthier worldview based on love, forgiveness, and charity.
it's a heresy, more the fault of Christians and their modern priors creeping into the Church in tandem with people delegating all agency of meeting justice to daddy government, it's essentially an elaborate cope for not seeing justice done and not being considered worthy enough to have justice done on your behalf
forgiveness, as part of the bible, was to teach people to forgive petty, perceived injustices for the sake of greater social stability and harmony within a tribal unit, it doesn't extend to forgiving murder so that bad juju wouldn't infect your chakras and you could feel better about yourself, all holy-like
LOL Jesus literally asked God to forgive the people calling for his crucifixion (people who, notably, hadn't even repented yet) and Joseph, one of the founders of the twelve tribes of Israel, forgave his brothers for selling him into slavery. You're completely high if you think the concept of Biblical forgiveness only ever applies to minor injustices. Jonah was forgiven for continuously disobeying the stated will of God which is not exactly a minor crime in the eyes of the Lord.
And nothing about Christian forgiveness says people shouldn't be punished for crimes. A punishment is an opportunity for reflection and repentance and if offering forgiveness to a wrongdoer increases the possibility that, through the adversity of rightful legal punishment, they will repent their actions and become a better person one ought to offer said forgiveness. If someone chooses not to repent, then they will bear the consequences. One forgives as much for the sake of ones own soul as for the soul of the wrongdoer. Or in the paraphrased words of Christ, if you wish your trespasses to be forgiven, you should forgive those who trespass against you.
Get this right-wing bro-theology the fuck out of here.
