No, it's the fact that it has no switch port is what's making these people upset and that many Japanese developers are preferring to cater towards larger foreign markets. I guess it's only problematic if you don't like tomboys, because there's 3 of them in the party.
It also destroys the narrative that nobody bought a PS5 in Japan.
Now that the media sales threads are verboten, we probably won't see any Dragon Quest 12 meltdowns because that's the last series that hasn't properly westernized but 12 is supposed to be the one that brings more americans and europeans into the audience .

Yes. I've been monitoring this community for a while for various reasons and Marissa above gave a good explanation of why those weak minds are on the verge.
It's just a bunch of Nintendo fanboys that get very angry everytime a japanese companie strive for worldwide sales instead of focusing in Japan and overhype everything Nintendo make (called Labo the next Wii fit lmao). It was the case for Monster Hunter World when they got their asses handed by reality of the market and it's the case for Tales of Arise today. They spent months explaining to the world it was a mistake to aim for broad sales and not focusing on Japan/Switch because yada data, yada facts. Well guess what ? ToA is the fastest selling title in the franchise worldwide.
They were dead wrong about MHW and still can't accept that success changed the game completely for japanese devs. That's why they see Playstation trolls everywhere. They can't fathom studios adopting that strategy and their datas mean shit when reality clap back which happens all the time with them.

They never got back up from this meltdown because their pettiness is through the roof. Cerium and Nibel were protecting them for a long ass time because both of them are also Nintendo fanboys (Cerium being one of the worst back on gaf). Then MHW worldwide success happened. Quickly after Cerium decided to hand the forum to B-Dubs and Nibel decided to focus on his twitter fame, avoiding those threads as much as he could.
By the way, remember that pedo discord from Resetera unveiled by the belgium bitch ? Yeah, it was the discord of the media creates community.
Resetera isn't just problematic for their woke culture and that community above is one of the worst from a pure gaming perspective.

As for user numbers, Gaf now has a consistent online user number of 500. Compared to ~250 last month, yet the alexa rank is still nose-diving and the number of 'guests' is consistant at 2.5k. If he doubled the online user numbers, then there should be more guests, and his Alexa rank should increase, not decrease.
Is he using bots/friggery to fudge the online user numbers to make the site look more alive? Either way, one thing is for sure; The site is no longer dying, it's dead.
