From the Oregonian It happened at a protest that occurs pretty frequently here for Patrick Kimmons but was also in support of Amir Locke and all others killed by police. Seems like no one has been taken into custody yet, but given that Portland Police still haven’t done anything about the guy...

That's one of the biggest flaws in tasers isn't it, the variable effects it can have? That the person being tasered can do anything from completely ignore the effects even if there's a hit, to it being able to kill someone? My understanding is the former is more common than the latter, but that just leads to them being used multiple times to be safe, which is more dangerous.

Nepenthe's hit box is small enough already that she shouldn't worry. Plus she's mostly LARPing here anyway. Also plus it's nice to know that she's one of the many people calling for the abolishing of police because she can get private security, leaving the proles to suffer the lawlessness while she remains safe.

Really, she should be more worried about being seen in public in her fursuit, someone might mistake her for a varmint and shoot her before she kills their chickens...

Wow, that thread died faster than a protester with a gunshot wound. I am surprised that nobody bumped it at all, even if the shooter wasn't who they wanted or expected it to be.

Yeah, she used to look okay but for the sequel they decided to Shrek-ify her and when called out on it the guy behind the game said "LOL if we made her look like her voice actresss it would be unrealistic! Look at her! She looks like she'd cry if she broke a nail!". Dunno anything beyond that though like if she looks better in the final game or if anyone caught wind of that last comment there.
 
Is it me or every new video game, movie and cartoon has a woman/girl as protagonists? We need some male representation.
