It is kinda nice to browse an older (+1 year) thread and see half or more of the accounts gotten smeared or deleted on the first page like bones and gristle marking the entrance of a Lion's den.
The deletions have a cumulative effect on prospective customers of this swedish product.

You can browse threads that are like 2 months old and see a half-dozen bans on the first page. I think they have long since stopped caring about the forum looking like a graveyard.

IIRC he didn't even get catfished, he basically fell in lust with a guy who was rather blatantly only using him for money, and it wasn't until his coom-brain died down that he realised that he'd let himself be used that way. I also believe that he was aware that he was literally buying the guy's attention during the course of the trip, but didn't care until afterwards. So he basically lied to himself that he wasn't hiring a hooker for 'the boyfriend experience' and then overshared with ResetEra about it afterwards.

If it happened, of course. I'm fairly sure a number of non-Farms accounts are also LARPing a lot of their lives on ResetEra, and while I'm not doubting at all that some guy would be that pathetic as to not only do what he did but then almost humblebrag about it on his beloved computer games forum, I can't help but be skeptical of what the majority of these assholes say. They're all delusional to at least some degree, only getting moreso the longer they spend in their little bubble. Wouldn't surprise me to find out that some of the less obvious liars are still lying, they're just a bit better at it.

His story does remind me a bit of the american half of the old Lime account who also larped as a highly educated gay man fearing for his life in the deep south. (Note that he was danish-european the other half of the time).
