It's better than that and it gets more betterer. She signed a seven year lease on the Nissan and bragged that she had out negotiated them because her initial payment would be so low.

And the car salesman who talked her into this deal? Her stepfather.

Let's be fair here. People with perfectly reasonable credit still get saddled with 10% interest rates. They get taken for a ride because they're retarded.

If it's a lease then that explains higher APR.

But if it's a lease she still got the shaft pretty hard if it's for seven years.

Imagine renting a Nissan and being responsible for it for years and years and years out of warranty.

I've seen this pop up from time to time.

It's apparently standard practice to change the toilets based on the percentage of people attending. Some boy band concert? Almost all the toilets will be female. Games convention? Most of the toilets will be male. Troons and feminists get mad at this, but only when they're the ones mildly inconvenienced.

Ricky Gervais has joined Dave Chapelle in releasing transphobic Netflix specials. I'm pretty sure Resetera already kind of hated him, but it really cements the point that Netflix is probably not their side. With Megan Markle's project and Antiracist Baby the Animated series being cancelled, they're probably right. Kyuuji's opening post lists some of Gervais' transphobic jokes.

ResetEra is the sort of place that thinks literally millions of people were killed under Trump, for non-Covid reasons. Who, you may ask? Well, all those black people murdered by cops, all of which is directly attributable to Trump. Of course, that number is several factors away from millions - somewhere around 220 or so unarmed black men killed by cops in the last few years is roughly what I remember the stat being, and of course somewhere near a thousand white men, though ResetEra doesn't give a shit about them.

But then ask for where else, and they'll scramble. At the border? In all those wars he didn't start, didn't want any part of, and tried his best to end? All those rainbow alphabet people who he clearly didn't herd into camps and murder - not through lack of trying allegedly, though the only real thing they can point to, the trans military ban, is of course more likely to keep troons alive than anything else? The muslim travel ban? Heather Heyer, at an event he wasn't at, with a car he wasn't driving, that didn't even touch her, but afterwards his quote was taken out of context and so he might as well have stopped her heart himself?

I was surprised to find out I have friends who truly believed he was a threat to just nuke a bunch of countries. They seemed to think Trump would one day just get all hepped up on Fox News and order a few nuclear weapons to kill everyone, somewhere. This level of TDS is baseline for the average ResetEra, who are so blinded by hating the man that they have no idea who Trump actually is. They hate him, and therefore they project everything they dislike onto him. Which, hating him is fine. I think he's a dreadful person. But there are so many very good reasons to have a problem with Trump, and ResetEra ignores most of them to focus on the idpol soundbite bullshit - "grab them by the pussy", "rapists and murderers", "some of them are good people". Even the first of those, while pretty gross, includes the context of 'when you're famous they let you do it'; doesn't make him sound like less of a douchebag sleazeball but does suggest he's talking consensually.

ResetEra undoubtedly believes that Trump's response to Covid was the worst in the world, unironically believe he told everyone to drink bleach and take horse pills, and that no one could have messed up handling the response more than him. It seems to me that he purposefully left a lot of it up to the states, just like he did with the Summer of Love. He definitely could have handled things better, but as far as I can tell that's true of literally everyone. Yet they're still more worried about fictional deaths that he didn't cause the first time around.

Imagine that - they can't even hate Trump for the right reasons. This is why even when you agree with any of their frequent posters on something, even something innocuous like both liking the same game it still feels uncomfortable, because it's all based on a fucked up viewpoint that is out of touch with reality. It's like the Giancarlo Esposito meme - 'I hate Trump because he's a narcissistic liar and braggart who failed upwards more than the last Republican President. You hate Trump because he's a straight white man who doesn't give a shit about your victimhood points. We are not the same.'

This one is my favorite. Who is fighting WW3 against Russia and America? The rest of the west is totally beholden to America. The Middle East is already at the mercy of American invasions and bombings. China would not fight a war against its best customers.

So is WW3 just Russia and America bombing Africa and South America for no reason? And why exactly would either country even need to form an alliance to do that? They could start blowing capitals in either continent today and nothing would happen.
