Much like how the Black community has a toxic 'Gangster Rap' culture problem that teaches young and impressionable black youths they shouldn't embrace responsibility to make something of themselves and teaches them that living as a thug in the streets is the only way to live life; the Gay community has an irresponsibility problem where a lot of them don't want to take the few minutes to put on a fucking condom if they're going to whore themselves out to 20 different guys and that's because Progressive politics tells them that they shouldn't take any responsibility when it comes to sexual relations (such as putting on a condom or learning more about their panther's health history for that matter) and they should also ignore any of the consequences that comes with whoring out (like not putting on a condom or not using other safe sex measures when it comes to having casual sex with other people will increase the likelihood of contracting an STD or something).

It's really difficult to break the stereotypes about being gay when a lot of gay men would rather embrace the stereotypes than say actually taking responsibility to help tear down said stereotypes that apply to them anyway.

In the case of monkeypox it's more all the general body contact involved in sex so abstinence from having sex with dudes you just met is basically the thing you have to do until monkeypox leaves the community. And this is part of why some of them are so angry. It's bigotry to tell anyone to not do something they want to do for a month or two until situations change. That's the first step of fascism, the next immediate step is Genociding all gay people for "being diseased" so you can't allow them the first step!

My understanding - and there was at least one article I vividly remember reading here that backs this up, because they framed it as 'teens dealing with homophobia at home during lockdown' _ is that while a fair number of gays dutifully followed all the covid rules, a fair number were still breaking lockdowns to have anonymous hookups.

So it's incredibly likely the gays who call altering their behaviour due to monkeypox 'homophobic' are the same ones who didn't alter their behaviour the last couple of years either - they just (mostly) knew better than to call the rest of the world homophobic for expecting them to maybe stop the risky fucking when the entire world is experiencing a pandemic.

Every piece of clothing I own gets worn once, and then washed. I generally can't stand the feel of unwashed pants. At the end of the day, what do these dirty birdies even do with their mucky thrice-worn pants? Just stick them back in the drawer amongst the clean pants, thereby contaminating even the shit they haven't worn?

I know that washing clothes puts a good deal of wear-and-tear on them, but fuck man this is America. I can afford to get new clothes every once in a while.....I can afford to do laundry once a week. I'm not so poor that I have to walk around in clothes with 5 days worth of accumulated dirt all over them. How did the attitude so quickly change from "Yes you must wear two masks at all times and make sure to change latex gloves every 4 hours" into "Yeah I haven't washed my pants in a month"?

Most likely these types are shut-ins who are not around other people so no one insults them for smelling like shit.

The average ERA type probably has no fashion sense anyway so if they were worried about wearing out their clothes then they could just buy lightly used clothes from thrift stores or brand new clothes from clearance bins or discount stores and wear those since they probably look better than the cum and Cheeto stained stuff they're wearing right now. not gonna lie, I wear my jeans 2 or 3 times before I let my wife wash them, since i only ever wear jeans when we go out for a date or something. oddly, i dont do that with any other pants or shorts though.
