For a time i assumed they did, their site puts a lot of gunk in the cookiestore and forces ipv4 for ban tracking (nobody there ever heard of routers with a reboot switch I reckon). But considering that the Swedish house mafia fired their technical staff it would be up to 'Dubs and the mods to figure it out themselves.
You could do a tone-shifted QR with a hash of the user's serial number in the background (kinda like Steam does) and it would be nearly imperceptible.

Something i noticed about B-Dubs' last few posts, his lack of introspective reasoning seems to be getting worse.

He bans users for seemingly arbitrary motives. but also laments the fact that people go to a forum and tracker OUTSIDE of his control to get what the user's "numerous" offenses were about.
He puts a select group of user who produce the most abhorrent of the forum's posts in an unassailable position, but also laments the fact that discords OUTSIDE of his control are complaining about it.

He or his style of managing the forum is NEVER to blame for any of that.

Pedo era feeling guilty at one of their own did a flip.

I give it good odds that this guy is fishing for pedo sympathy in an obtuse way. He displaces himself onto a fictional character who committed suicide, and he notes that what the guy did would be heinous if the allegations are true, revealing his own guilty conscience. He's hoping the other posters express sympathy for the suicide guy despite his heinous actions, meaning that they would also feel sympathy for him even if they knew he was a pedo. The character committing suicide probably also reflects his inner feelings, which he hopefully acts on before harming a child.
