Most the of the thread is people who have had their whole day brightened by this glorious news, but there ARE people (racists/homophobes, probably) who are looking at the trade in face face value:
That ellipses, in Resetera language, translates to "Please say more so we can ban you."
Hopefully his sound reasoning and ethnic avatar will keep him safe. He's not banned yet.
A few other people have noticed another inconvenient injustice:
Members of Resetera will continue to insist that black people, and women, and especially black lesbian women, are second-class citizens in the United States. Yet a straight white male is still rotting in his cell in Russia right now, apparently because he doesn't play basketball. The USA actually PUT him in Russia, and they haven't gotten him released yet. Griner got herself arrested by stupidly bringing an illegal substance in a hostile country.
Arc's really pushing it. But his heresy is not going unnoticed.
This guy is just raining on their parade and needs to be banned.
But think about that. I have no doubt in my mind that people are going to die because of things Viktor Bout will do in the future. I wonder if Griner thinks about that next time she's kneeling during the Pledge of Allegiance.
