People obsessed with Twitter trendings have an almost perfect record of not realizing the "What's happening" box is culled from things only you're looking at, not for everyone. (All-time winner is Taylor Lorenz regularly posting screenshots of her own name trending there.) Why do people keep registering there when everyone must know what a dystopia it is?
And how do they even have any members left?
I guess 1 and 2 tie in with each other but it cant just be a constant supply of new members constantly being banned? Or maybe it is? With an old core of "true believers" remaining that all know each other and dont ban each other?
