I can't believe the "boy or a girl" thread is still going on. Every page has at least 1 new person getting banned, It's basically 30 pages of:

neogafer: I wish pokemon would let me choose one of my imaginary genders.
Normal person 1: That's unfair to the devs, they have no right to obligate.
Normal person 2: There are only 2 genders, xx and xy.
neogafers: We are going to keep quoting all of you with pointless "What?!"s and "how dare you!" and calling you guys transphobics until you get banned.
<normal person 1 and 2 are banned>

edit: "I think it's coward to ban someone just because they don't share the same opinion!"- banned user that disagreed with the hivemind.

Neogaf is almost a parody of itself.

For the most part (ie outside of downtown Tokyo), Japan is very conservative. Strong nationalism, tend to be raciat towards foreigners, anti-lgbt, quite misogynistic, ect.

It's not really surprising.
