Its a safe haven where you can complain via report if someone hurt your feelings and most of the time get them banned. Lots of mentally ill folk there that want to be protected because of their faggotry. Game news or links to game fixes comes out there somewhat quickly, with replies from the few industry folk that remain unbanned. Of course you have to be in their hive mind set, but thats the price you gotta pay.

Did anyone ever compile a list of all the obvious studio-shills/pr-reps on the site? I remember back in the prime GAF days there were several spreadsheets going around, but I can't find any trace of them anymore.

I guess on Reeee there are a lot more retards submitting their affiliations and """gamedev""" (aka. QA) titles to get that stupid verified badge. But you have users like loudninja who is clearly some sort of Sony PR, he only posts press releases and positive sony news. And there are probably tons of others a bit more subtle than him around.

The moderators on REE are the absolute worst I've ever come across. Bunch of inept shut-ins on power trips. Nepenthe in particular. Tries to talk like some black panther militant that's down in the hood trying to start a revolution, but she's a furry that lives with her parents in a middle class neighborhood and works at Walgreens.
