People play games to experience the unattainable.
  • Coomers want RPGmaker smut from F95.
  • Rentoids play the Sims to feel like what it is to own a house.
  • Mailmen play Death Stranding to know what it feels like to be appreciated.
Many such cases, now in this particular case it's a spindly low-T man with self esteem issues that wants to punch a nazi without shattering his wrist.

They like to imagine that what they are actually conducting violence towards is those damn MAGA chuds. They like to think of themselves as brave resistance fighters when in reality, the only thing they have thrown their hands at with vigor is fast food. So, they play those games because that's the closest thing they'll ever get to doing something about those foul chuds daring to win elections.

Love when they're stupid about their own supposed favorite media format. Neither the enemies in Crimson Skies nor Bioshock are Nazis/fascists. Crimson Skies has Zeppelins but the bad guys aren't Nazis, they're sky pirates or some shit like that. Basically everyone in the game is part of some kind of sky gang or whatever in the "wild" West. The bad guys in BioShock are an insane Randian, an insane socialist and sky Mormons.

The bad guys in most of these others mentioned are actual historical Nazis or Wehrmacht. There's way more games with "generic fascist-like" enemies let alone "generic conservative/right-winger" types but I guess that's way too subtle for them.

edit: Guess the sky pirates in Crimson Skies are supposedly "fascist militia" according to Wikipedia but it seems a little prejudicial to assume they're Nazis just because they're German. It's an alternate universe where the United States has broken up and I don't think anything about Europe is even described.
