'Retard' and 'retarded' never really went away because the basic concept - insulting someone's intelligence - is otherwise fine in a broad variety of situations. It's not like 'nigger' or 'kike', where those specific words are just at the top of the heap of an entire class that's verba non grata to the general public. Most places you go and people you interact with aren't going to react well to using race/ethnicity as an insult, regardless of the specific word you use.

Doesn't really work when you're trying to make one word off-limits. Sure, you can say that 'It's just one word, why are you so keen to say it when there are so many other words for the same concept', but on the other side of that there's 'If every other word for this is fine to use, even words like 'imbecile' and 'moron' that have the same origin, why is only one not ok to use?'

Most Euros don't really need air conditioning, even in Italy. It might be hot for one month out of the year, you just put a fan on yourself if things get bad. A lot of European hotels don't even have air conditioning.

There's a reason why air conditioning was invented in America. Most of the country is warmer than even southern Europe especially during the summer.

I think it's funny that when you think about it, mental illness is the only explanation for a well respected hip hop artist, probably THE most well respected hip hop artist, to fall as low as doing the I GAVE MY COUSIN HEAD track that, on top of being disgusting, is an absolutely AWFUL amateur song. Maximizing profits in this case just means making a good game that people want to buy.
They complain so much about "inclusivity" but don't want a game to actually appeal to a majority of people, and instead want them to go broke putting money, time and effort into making garbage appealing to a tiny minority that probably won't even buy the game anyway.
It's crazy how much people like this pretend to care about workers rights and then say they have a right to other people's labor for their benefit.
