AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

All the irony aside of posting on Resetera about mean moderators from other sites, it's strange how none of the mods are lecturing him about how an appeal should either be a moving show of contrition, or a convincing argument that the punishment was executed wrongly.
Not just elaborating what you did wrong in the first place.

Literally just reboot your modem, wipe reddit's cookies and use another email to sign up like with any other forum.
Also I've never had to make an account to get what i need from reddit, and i cannot imagine making one now.

Imagine dating as a dude nowadays - getting a match online, making it through the talking phase, setting up a date, paying for it - and then you realize this is one of five dates she has lined up that week.

It's not worth the bother unless you have a lot of offers and you can pick and choose.

I mean, were they really wrong about that?
Yes and no, but this topic is best discussed elsewhere.

If you want to learn about a subject then it's the most patient tool with the best access to information materials out there. It's also easy to to set up an init prompt that will turn it into a great advisor or mentor for Socratic learning.
If you properly and clearly state your command, demarcate it's scope and make it absolutely clear that it isn't allowed to bullshit, it can also figure out and decompose complex tasks and summarize travel plans for example.

The problem (in my view) is that it's (ab)used as a brain-replacement, a large chunk of it's users will not critically review it's outputs, will not actually learn from it, and (most harmfully) give it carte-blanche access to everything.
This leads to catastrophe and disappointment. But my experience with working with zoomers gave me a grim outlook.

Oh and don't get me started about people using it as a therapist or the increasingly burgeoning movement of cogsuckers.

About which part?

I don't think the internet and email made us retarded, unless you are just joking about people doom scrolling on instagram all day or whatever. Those people always existed, but baby boomers just called it channel surfing. Thirty years ago, people used to just sit in front of the TV blazed out of their mind watching nonsense on TV. Hell, in the 70s, old people were terrified Pac Man and Space Invaders were destroying our kids minds, or that "The Mall" was destroying our kids. Every bit of technology is the same.

If you mean that email and the internet has destroyed most people's ability to physically write well with pen and paper, or write formal letter, or go to the library, that sort of thing, then thats just technology making those things obsolete for 99% of people. Assuming AI becomes advanced enough and cheap enough, it will have the same effect. If asking the AI just gives you the right answer with 200 linked sources, do you need the skill to go look it up yourself?

I'm hoping this is a deliberate psyop by the elites to start imposing some eugenic filters on our population without having to resort to violence. Horrifying to think our children as having to live amongst a bunch of retards tho. Sticking them all with UBI and AI slop might be the best ending tbh
