Whether it's about gamergate or any other issue, cite a place like breitbart and these people just dismiss it with "that place is right-wing". Does the article cite actual facts and sources? Doesn't matter because I personally don't like who is saying them. Left-wing and right-wing are just meaningless invective now, same as calling someone racist because they disagree with you.
You know this already, but it flat-out doesn't matter what the source is anymore: They'll ignore fucking
any source that disputes their point of view. You can see a much more insane version of this on Wikipedia, where any GG-related subject is censored to hell and back by mods who pathologically will defend one source as credible, then cite that same source to not be credible the second it reports facts they don't approve of (thank you, Washington Post).
Fucking
feminist groups investigated GG at length and found it wasn't the terrorist white supremacist quadruple hitler that everyone was saying it was, and indeed,
was a bunch of spergs sperging about what they were proclaiming to be sperging about, and sites like NeoGAF will magically pretend
it never fucking happened. That already happened most notably with Women Action Media, as well as at
least two more smaller feminist groups that did the unthinkable and actually did their homework so they'd know what was being sperged about.
Hell, even the
government telling them they're fucking wrong isn't enough. FBI, DHS, even the fucking FTC all said GG wasn't a fucking problem, and these spergs just keep going.
GG's been dead for years, but we keep seeing it in the news because GG was the loss that hurt them the most. Several (most notably Dynastia) have pointed out that GG was hardly the first group to repulse an attempted takeover by Social Justice, nor was it the most successful; it simply was the most public, and in so being, caused them the biggest loss. They threw
everything at destroying it, and it backfired gloriously.
