The first week had everyone jerking each other off about how wonderful and awesome ResetEra was going to be and now the mods and admins are starting to crack down on the userbase who delusionally thought that it would be better than on NeoGAF. Itchy trigger fingers is part of the GAF culture, anyone who thought that the moderation staff would take their giant stick out of their ass was deluding themselves.

a little late but on the Reeeeeesetera thread about the recent NYC peace truck they of course immediately started sperging about the need for gun control (expected since at first it sounded like he used guns). More humorous was when the news spread in the thread multiple times that the deaths were all due to the rental truck and people just kept squawking about guns. You can imagine where the mods stepped in:
Naturally after it became clear that this wasn't a alt-right gun nut and was instead a aloha snackbar with a truck, everyone went from "We MUST do something!" to "welp, it's just nature's way, can't be helped!"
And since the title was presumably all about guns the thread kept trying to get someone to change it but they couldn't because everything about the mods is secretive so no one can tell who is doing the modding... they have to report themselves to try and get in touch with mods lol
