Sonic Forces has a inclusive Character Creator that could help kids with gender identity issues.
A friend of mine who is transgender normally doesn't like Sonic the Hedgehog all that much, but in the middle of a Party Chat on PS4 he said he was impressed by Sonic Force's Character Creator for a reason I don't think I would have noticed, and I'm positive many of you wouldn't have either.

For those unaware, Sonic Forces is about you creating a custom avatar character that teams up with Sonic and his friends in order to stop Eggman. It's a basic set up but this is the first time the series has let people create their own characters. What's interesting is that, regardless of what gender you choose for your character, you're allowed to wear all the unlockable clothing options in the game. For example, if your character is a male, you can wear dresses.

There aren't too many pictures of people's Avatars yet but as someone who's played the game I'm honestly impressed by the variety in outfits you can dress up in.

What makes this even better is how, regardless of whether you're male or female, and regardless of what you wear, Sonic will still be your best friend in the story and high five you and all that fun stuff. Sonic and his friends never judge your character on what you wear.

Sonic games are usually targeted to kids/preteens/teens and it's nice that a Sonic title of all things is more inclusive than most games with create-a-character features. My friend said that something like this would have been great to have when he was younger.

So, have you guys played any games where you can dress your character how you like, regardless of gender(and not have it be done for tasteless "comedic" purposes)? And what franchises do you think could learn a lesson and start giving players more options when creating their avatars.

...It would be extra work to make characters react differently. And to restrict clothes to one sex or the other. I'm not going to say you're congratulating laziness, but I'm gonna think it. Besides that, who is looking for gender revelations in the OC creator in a game for 12 year olds?

IMO, this goes back to what we've seen of the crazy troons that we cover, they are always preying on insecure men and call them 'eggs' that need to be hatched, they are doing this because they want transpeople to become a loud-enough minority just like all the other minorities they attach themselves to, because currently they are not capable of affecting change without the backing of other SJW hiveminds.

And of course the psychopaths @ ResetEra are ok with preying on kids to further a political agenda. Which is a whole new level of depraved imo.
