"It's not censorship, it's criticism" is always bullshit because the cult wants those 'criticisms' to become 'actual changes.' Remember these people aren't yelling for attention whoring. When they complain about something they want it torn down and rearranged to their liking.

I almost—almost—miss the Moral Majority over SJWs. At least when they raided school libraries and prosecuted smut publishers they were honest up front. Not like now where the cult uses professional victimhood, mind games and polite words to dance until they have rewritten reality.

EDIT: Just spinning my wheel through that 76 page thread is hilariously horrifying. So much red over minuscule infractions.

Except EA has been outright loathed in the community for literally the last 30 years, for everything from their labor practices to their exploitation to their "pioneering" DRM fuckery.

This is the same idiot that for some unknown reason pretends to live in the US, even though he lives in Denmark? I love how he is basically saying "Good, you've backed this cause, now back my pet causes too!".

As I recall, all those "crunch-time" controversies weren't warmly received either, but what does he expect customers to do exactly? Create a union for those devs? Protest at the company grounds?

A lot of the actionable strategies are just not in the consumers' hands, not to mention that a few of those pieces (Team Bondi & Silicon Knights, the latter of which he didn't mention) were written by the same journalist, and have possible inaccuracies, omissions and maybe even outright lies in them, which makes it hard to sympathize with any new article that comes out with a similar topic.

Also, what minority developer was targeted for putting PoC characters in their games?

Finally, huge lol @ "no mass support of outspoken women who are harassed and terrorized in game culture". I see all that GG autism wasn't enough for him (though it wasn't enough for us either, for different reasons).

SweetNicole pinned a thread about net neutrality to the top of both boards. She urges people to go out and protest at Verizon stores and march to lawmakers' offices if they are nearby.

She's such a busy woman, being an activist while hiring more mods to police her perfect utopian forum and silencing anyone who slightly disagrees with her.

No, no, I meant like, does he host the website himself or does he need to be around to manage it? I'm curious if he goes to jail or something if NeoGaf will shut down or just end up a chicken running around with its head cut off.
