Autism knows no boundaries. While anime avatars get seen as 4Chan trolls, you can just look at a place like ResetEra or Twitter to find anime avatars that sperg over socialism and how GooberGrape was all terrorist rather than angry tendie hungry neckbeards.
The idea of tendies being used as a means of mocking a person that fulfills the neckbeard stereotype flies over their heads. Much as one can think it's 4chan lingo, it's more applicable to a basement dweller. Then again, if some of these people are basement dweller's, it shouldn't be surprising.

Their aura of paranoia is so stifling. You have to know which words are now blacklisted as subliminal alt-right dog-whistling – 'tendies' is bad, how about 'nugs'? Is that still ok? Is it problematic now? If 'nugs' is ok then why is 'tendies' bad? There's no rhyme nor reason, you have to be constantly up on the latest internet drama and fatwas issued by twitter demagogues on who or what is now haram, for fear of being declared a subversive element and being ex-communicated if you don't toe the line and don't know some obscure memes.

People familiar with anime quickly realize that Sjws anime avatars are almost always picked from a small selection of anime and videogames.

It still qualifies as paranoia because they refuse to ever accept that another person means what they say or comes from a different perspective. And that's regardless of whether someone else challenged them, or they went into someone else's realm to start a fight that wasn't happening until they got there.

The implication is that economic opportunities aren't the sole or even the worst problem faced by young black people; more likely it's a result of social pressures that aren't being examined because the entire black identity is so politicized that no one can say a word about it without having their motives questioned. It's a lot easier to blame Trump than it is to even indirectly admit that maybe African-American culture has got some deep seated problems that can't be solved by putting more black actors in Marvel movies.
Plus, the group statistically most likely to commit suicide is middle aged white men, but you don't see anyone talking about that either because it's an inconvenient truth.

I've never seen a more ban-happy staff than ResetERA's. I don't think they can even pretend to not be an echo chamber when anything that even remotely resembles a dissenting opinion gets a warning or a ban.
Didn't Tumblr try to troll 4chan at one point too? I don't expect this attempt to be any more successful, since trolling 4chan is like trying to spite a toilet by pissing in it.

Tumblr tried and 4chan bluntly responded by telling them to fuck off and spamming tags with gore pics. Which for 4chan back then was moderately generous.
