One of the funniest things about REEEEEsetEra is their desperate attempt at recapturing the only thing people give a shit about NeoGAF for: leaks. I have seen more fake leaks sourcing Reset than anywhere else lately. It's kind of hilarious.

If someone wonders why we as a site exist, it's simple: we're more or less like TMZ as one user said. We simply just look at (and in some cases look for) individuals to laugh at such alt-right nazi furs that shit their diapers. The worst we have would be the doxing of public info that would come from one's Facebook or other social media. Everything else is just making some post about that person. If having a thread where we do shit like picking apart a has-been internet critic, wannabe cook, or even individuals formerly involved in video game autism screeching counts as cruelty, then we all may as well be Hitler. As for the pathetic part also falls onto ResetERA in terms of having mods being too ban happy.

This argument is so ridiculous to me. Yakuza is set in an actual district in Tokyo. I've been there, those "outdated clubs" exist, and they're advertised openly. If you don't like it, maybe you should direct your ire towards the actual businesses exploiting actual people instead of a video game acknowledging their existence.

Well I know this isn't a popular perspective but I do kind of agree with some of those posts.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to say that you can't recommend some media to everyone because of more hardcore sexual content. For example, I really loved The Young Pope but it did have gratuitous nudity and I wouldn't watch it with my devoutly Christian friends. If something has sexualised nudity, porn, or stripping, then it's not going to be possible for everyone to enjoy it. It's worth mentioning what kind of content a game has so people who don't want to deal with that can avoid the game and not shit up the OTs getting upset when they hit that content in the game.
"Sex positive" feminism is bullshit in the same way that the "pro life" movement is – it casts everyone who disagrees with them as being "sex negative" or "anti-life". You'd think feminists would recognise the hypocrisy in using the same rhetorical tactic that anti-abortionists do. So I don't really fault anyone for taking issue with being labeled "sex negative" because they disagree with idiotic sex-positive feminists.
And yeah, anyone who is proud of "nerd culture" is exceptional. The very existence of resetera should make you want to distance yourself from it.
At least they're being honest.
