I fully believe chloe intended to draw attention to mental illness. She was the real deal and not a fraud who collected mental illnesses for oppression points. Sure she tried to use her well deserved points but ironically got lackluster returns from her malingering friends.
I believe she was legit not only because she actually killed herself by immolation but also demonstrably tried to do the best she could in spite of her situation which I see few special snowflakes ever do.
