Yes, but they only associate with 'their kind'. It's that line about 'how did Nixon get elected? I don't know anyone who voted for him!' written on a larger scale.

What I can't figure out is why anyone would post ANYTHING on Resetera unless they were a mod. It's like being at a meeting in Soviet-era East Germany for fuck's sake, and half the meeting attendees are Stasi informers.

The funny thing is that, for how they act, they are not that far away from incels. I mean, incels think of themselves as superior, they are obsessed with videogames and every little issue surrounding them, they are cringy as fuck, they don't know how to deal with people in real life, and they hate women. Does that ring any bells?

The only difference is that incels DIRECTLY hate and consider themselves superior to women, Era users just do it indirectly. Women cannot be criticized in any way no matter what (look at Price), because they are special creatures who need to be protected from everything. If you say anything no matter the context, it's mansplaining. It's also funny because the REAL women outside are fighting the real fights, the real misogyny and sexism, not the bullshits that ERA think are important.

My overall goal is to make sure the site is entirely data driven, and with the exception of the hand selected VIPs, it is. With the addition of the reply-action stats I plan to review existing VIPs and remove/add based on those stats. The site is not DoxOMatic9000, I'm not going to have it automatically go out and link/archive twitter/linkedin/facebook/etc accounts. This is just basic sociology student research stuff, but done in public view and in real time.

Anyways, please refer to my ethics policy. It was officially adopted after the original GitHub site got taken down :^)

Which? The guy who did the stream and hid his face? Or the Yakuza 3 debacle where they replaced half of the models in the Western version with black people, took out a running gag's ending because it was sexist, as well as removing various quests that were deemed problematic? They even took out the whole hostess experience thing -- along with the create a hostess.

They actually let go or restructured after that -- either because of costs or because the localization team were that bad. Either way it led to actually decent localization following Yakuza 3.

I mean in fairness I'd probably skip it too if I was streaming. So as to get back to playing the game and other "happening" things.

I wouldn't put on the production that was that ridiculous cuck mating call of his, jesus.

There's only two possibilities here:

a) He's trying too hard because he knows his audience.
b) He actually has that reaction organically.
I'm really struggling with which of these options is more pathetic. :thinking:
