So archive links are a hate site/movement, unless it's an archive of GoG saying something that they don't like in which case it's fair game.
I used to think journalism was all about getting the story through research, verification, and hard work. Patrick "scoops" Klepek and his ilk just sit on Twitter and get stories handed to them by their betters with instructions on how to run it.
It's good to remember that all of them are the internet equivalent of that weaselly kid at school that talks tough then hides behind their big brother. No one likes them, and they have no influence on anything. The only people who really care are those that are so far out of touch that they still think game journalists are the voice of the gamer and NeoGaf is the hub of the gaming community.
Yeah, it sucks when they ruin someones reputation for life because of an 8 year old tweet. But ask yourself what is considered a big win for them. The press is dying from lack of money, their communities are dying due to infighting, they are losing on every front from politics to business, and yet they do a victory lap when some niche game gets censored or a trailer has lesbians in it. Then they go right back to complaining because said lesbians weren't trans.
Or how about I put it another way. When was the last time any of these people on Reset Era was genuinely happy about anything?

Unrelated, some wonderfully ironic NPC posts...they just don't seem to get the NPC meme.
Someone explains the meme (for at least the second time if other posts are any indication) in a thread where everyone is dogpiling anyone slightly in disagreement.
It's ridiculous you see.
Predictably, this will lead to a holocaust though I give credit to this exceptional individual for not immediately namedropping Nazis, but that's the same level of credit I would give a dog for crapping on the carpet and NOT dragging its ass across the floor.

They may share some properties with us, but the most important difference is that they *never* seem to enjoy making a post. Their writing style is always that of someone who's on the verge of a mental breakdown, and who can blame them the etc. forum is *packed* with fear mongering, depression/anxiety and moral police threads with the gaming forum only having these 'market analysis', shilling-, and game journalism reposting threads.
They never seem to enjoy things, they never seem to actually play games even.

It's interesting how wishy-washy their boycott talk is this time around. Usually it's all 'never buying a game from them again!' (with the occasional 'I never bought a game from them and now I never will!', like the company's going to be sad to have lost sales they never had).
But no, this time it's much more 'thinking of not getting the game straight away, won't buy a game from you for a while, may get it second-hand because I deserve to play the game but I have to feel like I'm punishing the company in some way'...
So they're massive hypocrites - which isn't new information. But they could also be said to be transphobic, at least by the sort of people who think having light fun with a dumb hashtag is literally murdering troons. Still, knowing how ban-happy the mods are, I wouldn't have thought anyone would have dared to vote 'yes' in the poll, considering they're now basically accessories to mass-murder.

Cheong's a lol-cow that laughed at a flashbanged dog. It still doesn't excuse the fact Hecht should get a life since that could give him a one up over Cheong and the evil goobers that find ResetEra laughable.
They can still talk about video games in the sense of how they're all made by evil transphobes that made the whole hobby toxic in the eyes of these spergs.
