I was born in the 80s and I'm considered either Gen X or Millennial depending on what box I most conveniently fit in at that time.

I'm willing to bet he lives in a house with central heating/air conditioning, a fridge, a flushing toilet, and other man made conveniences intended to keep nature as far away as possible, maybe even in a big city where the closest thing to "nature" he has to deal with is the weeds that occasionally grow in the pavement cracks.

I'm going to out on a limb and suggest that the bar has been raised, and now there is nothing more white and middle class than dressing like matching Amiibos for your own wedding.
