It's just one of Mueller's diversion strategies, we must make a thread for each of his moves in the great game. Only a russian spy would object to having at least 3 threads about Mueller bumped to the top at all times.

Why do people still post on Upsetera? Most threads are just accusing something of being Nazis/alt-right/sexist/white supremacist/Russian spies or whatever, then threads devolve into users accusing each other of those things, then like 20 pages later a chicken-shit mod will lock the thread with vague reasonings like the discussion has run its course, or the opening source wasn't credible enough without talking about the real reason.

I'm pretty sure they're just addicted to the feeling of outrage and righteous anger they get from "identifying" nazis.

Because at the outset it's a game. Like a good sandbox/roguelike it's objective and rules loosely defined and the price of failure is deletion of your character.
  • Some will try to climb the steps to the pantheon of the mods basking in immor(t)al power and destroying junies with impunity.
  • Others are content with setting the realm ablaze with the fires of discord and fury as a kamikaze account.
  • While the most dedicated want to join the in-game factions like BCT and TransERA and learn their secrets.
To a lucky few it's definitely a rewarding experience that makes you keep coming back for more. Remind me to write up a strategy guide to Resetera sometime, i have a few ideas to share.

If Datajoy is the right guy I'm thinking of, he's a pretty obvious troll taking the piss that the mods haven't yet figured out much like Alimnassor seemingly was. Alimnassor tried to push it a little too much and they finally caught on. Usually they keep it to one or two comments per thread, but Alimnassor tried to get into it with people over George Carlin being alt-right lol

I'm almost starting to feel some real respect for the dudes keeping it up for a whole year plus now without getting got. *sniff*

Heck, speaking as a guy who works a steady 9-5 job with good benefits and perks, I admit I get a tiny bit envious of Pewds making money with his channel. Still, fame is fleeting, and there's a reason Envy is a deadly sin. I get over it.

One of his recent videos he goes off on a tangent about mocking Norwegians, and then relates a story about how he was with his grandfather and while on his deathbed, discussed with Felix how easy it would be to invade Norway and subjugate them to Sweden(they have no defenses and all the oil). It was deliciously european of him between the memes, I laughed pretty hard.
