Jesus fucking christ... Elizabeth Warren may be the ultimate queen of taking a pretty much non-scandal, trying to turn it into pity points, and utterly fucking torpedoing herself. Before this came back up again, I believed the lie the media has been pushing that she never used her indian heritage for any advantages, harvard just listed her that way on their own, etc.

Now chief Foot-in-mouth has gone out of her way to make sure everyone realizes this was actually worse than it appeared, and in the process, fucked over all the people covering for her. And the dumbass did this thinking she was going to get pity for being picked on by Trump.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe Rosie O'Donnel really is fat...

I thought you were exaggerating but you weren't, 9 minutes on the dot and 34 replies before an admin shitcans it:

only the OP makes a second post in thread so most of the posts are drive-by commentary, but no time was given for a discussion to really happen either. Still, it got rough 3 replies a minutes for 10 minutes during primetime posting and still got moved into another related mega-thread. Seems unlikely that it was reported since there was no banned posts or anger between users, so the admin must have been actively browsing and not liked his political team looking stupid & just wanted to bury the story in a mega-thread to minimize moderating workload. :story:

Same admin (B-Dubs) locks it and posts "If you want to talk about primaries stuff then go to the primaries thread."

Except, technically Bernie Sanders has not yet entered the race, not even started an exploratory committee or anything. Just said in interviews that he's thinking about it. And this is him, in his role as a Senator introducing a new bill to the Senate (even if unlikely to go anywhere) not some kind of primary announcement. The thread even isn't really about the primaries, a few posters are lamenting he didn't win in 2016 (or happy that he lost) but the bulk is actually talking about the taxes in the proposal or whatever.

Yet still. Nope, GOES IN PRIMARY THREAD. :story:
