Calories are broken down into carbs, protein & fats you dog-brained sped. A healthy consumption would be (roughly) 80 grams of protein, 60 grams of fats & 60 grams of carbs if you were "le average 2K kilo-caloric diet" but they hate the facts and science on nutrition almost as much as video games. "Bad food is cheaper!" is such an ignorant meme, always amazes me how it persists.

If ever left unchecked they will rampage through the entire lexicon one problematic word at a time and attempt to restrict the range of expression so as to exclude the gross, icky, triggering things.

You know, this post wouldn't actually be so bad if it was just a post. It's a stupid argument from the get go because people should have thicker skin and you ideally shouldn't want to idealize weakness, but it's well within his right to be stupid. The problem with Resetera is that this isn't an argument, you literally can't provide a counter-argument. This is the law. You turn a flimsy at best logic into an inarguable stance. Echo chambers fucking suck because you spend most of your "debating" time not ever having a debate so you always have a feeling you're right. When someone challenges those views, you can't deal with it. You have to remove them from that particular social circle. And then that initial stupid argument resonates freely as like minded individuals continue to circle jerk around it. It becomes ingrained into that group's belief not ever getting questioned.

I didn't bring this up originally but my favorite thing about this story is that even in a completely fake scenario that he made up out of thin air, he's a fucking loser who waits in his car for an hour and a half for the library to open. What is he homeless? Why didn't he just wait until the library was open and then leave at that time? Who just has an hour and a half in the morning to do that?
