A pinup artist drew an aged up version of a character from the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and people got upset about this because the character is 14 in the show. Drawing porn of a character who is underaged is still pedophiliac and is sexualizing a child even if you draw an aged up version of the character that doesn't look like a child in any way. This then leads to people saying that this is like lolicon and condemning it and lolicon.

This lead to people defending the artist and pinup, and some people where defending lolicon and the artist as well. As far I know the artist never actually commented on the controversy.

The whole "this character is still a minor' argument was something that started on tumblr then move to twitter after people started to migration over to it after the tumblr NSFW ban. It's just more proof that twitter is the new tumblr.

Also something else to note is a lot of the people bitching about it also have pronouns in their bio and have fan art of people shipping cartoon and anime together most of witch are underage according to them.
