Even Bish and Besada managed to get some cult members supporting them, more-so Bish. No one really liked Besada all that much.
Neither are comparable to the complete lack of interest the Resetera community has in B-Dubs. I think it kills these internet janitors inside absolutely none of them can get a community following like quite a few mods managed on NeoGAF. No one wants to talk to them. No one posts gifs or "fun allowed" remarks to interact with them. No one welcomes them or congratulates them on anything. The whole community hates them.
I guess this is because on NeoGAF the white troons mostly didn't exist or Tyler Malka did reappear every so often to tell them to fuck off when they went crazy. Resetera embraced these people and they always hate everyone, even their masters who ban hundreds of people each day just to try and appease them. Isamu Fukui betting on the troons has made him some money, but it's trashed his own image/site reputation at lightspeed.
I don't think I know of many other communities where the staff are universally hated as much as the Resetera roster. It's like a revolving door as well, new staff every week, except for day 1 mod Morrigan because she has nothing else in her life to hold onto than being an unpaid internet janitor hitting the ban button.
