PoliEra (which Cerium (who?), B-Dubs, Y2Kev, Kirblar, etc. all come from) is a very Democratic Party centric and Democratic Party only group. They care about one thing and one thing only, the Democrats winning. They have literally zero other principles except where they support the Democratic Party. They aren't "liberal/left" in favor of Medicare 4 All for example because this is not the Democratic Party's stance, only a few of its nominees. Until the Party takes it up completely they will not support it. Same for drug legalization, drone warfare, illegal spying, etc. Until these things are proven to help the Democrats win they do not care. They literally believe that Tulsi is a Russian asset, they think Bernie is likely one, Trump is definitely one and so on because that's the Party Line.
They mainly swarmed in on GAF prior to the 2014 election as part of a long run-up to the 2016 Hillary coronation and pushed basically everyone else out, the true leftists, the few Republicans/conservatives/libertarians/etc., the non Clinton lovers, whoever else got generally hounded out, banned if they could for "trolling" which they never used accurately and has continued into Era's mods usage of the term. Now, many of those people are still around with accounts, hence why OT threads and polls fail so badly, but they aren't the dominant players in the PoliEra thread or discord. The Discord literally has a list of people that they're targeting for bans, more than one person has confirmed this as if it wasn't obvious.
