Typically I’m either disgusted or laugh my ass off at the social ineptitude of these people & how out of touch they are but this topic actually makes me deeply disturbed and sad.

Look at the sheer amount of vitriol and anger against this guy this is a guy who - after he found out about his wife’s terminal cancer - spiraled into depression and tried to treat his anxiety with benzos, getting on an awful feedback loop needing medical intervention when trying to get off of them. Interesting, so the bedlam show at etcetera is just the tip of the iceberg and the more extreme insanity is carefully hidden in this subforum.

So one of their fellow minorities gets a ban, or someone posts something that could even be considered offensive, and they'll hold onto that for years as evidence, because no matter if it was immediately deleted, the user/mod run out on a rail, the ban overturned - the fact that this one time something they didn't like happened, and it shows there's systemic problems that can only be solved by giving them more power.

They have to be vague about it because they can't specifically point to examples of wrongdoing, in part because the mods don't want to litigate their rulings and in part because they have very few solid things to point to - they have one or two in mind, otherwise it's just a general air of paranoia that everyone's secretly out to get them.

And, hey, the black posters on ResetEra, who undoubtedly are fewer than they think because there's some LARPing going on, saw the troons did it and want to try it too. They were the losers when the troons mugged Royalan and dumped him overboard, no wonder they want to get some of that oppression power back.
