The funny thing is, I've seen numerous places where people went all in on Johnny Depp being the abuser and attacking anyone who even thought of defending him - but now all this other evidence is rolling in they've become all, 'Well, we can't know what really happened between them, it's all very complicated.' And that still isn't as annoying as the ResetEra complete denial of any form of accountability, lack of introspection, and even bringing up the spectre of GamerGate just to pretend they aren't equally culpable.

I really don't understand why they just don't go back on that claim (made probably by a mod/admin who is long gone) that they don't ban posters for admitting to voting for/supporting Donald Trump. The one mods tried "supporting bigotry" and now it's advanced to "inflammatory support" but just say you don't allow members who would literally murder the marginalized members on your forum or whatever.
