One of my favorites is when they said "junior members will not be treated differently other than they can't make threads" unlike on NeoGAF where it was a literal badge of shame. That ended as soon as Larry and crew had spammed thousands of posts enough to set themselves off as "prominent members" and they became (even more) paranoid about infiltrators despite the active poster count decreasing.

Meanwhile, some of the best actual trolls and posters who might as well be the equivalent because they're nutcases have been around for the entire time and rarely banned until the mods finally figure it out.

ResetEra's admins and mods seem to welcome the decreased activity. They continue to be mean to people and actively ban people over nothing. Seen pretty benign posters get permas for criticizing the mods recently. If you can't take even mild ribbing or criticism then you're the wrong type of person to be moderating social media. Grow up.

Those Skullgirls panty shots REE has aneurysms over would have been the same shit underground comix artists drew to slap the Man in the face. Drawing porn, depicting lewd displays, and being generally rude was a direct response to people who dragged your ass to court and jailed you for it.

Now the REE-like Left has tripped over so many ideologues that its wires are crossed. They have become either their parents or what their parents hated. The only proper response is to mass produce what REE hates now in mass quantities, and then the pendulum swings back the other way and the whole sorry shitshow starts all over again.

Someday when I'm really bored or Frank does something extra stupid, I'll go through my old Ultra Game Players magazines (he was their editor in chief after Chris Slate left, they went out of business under him and my subscription was switched to Next Generation) to see if I can find any wrongthink material. I bet there is some, we all know how problematic gaming was in the 90s.
